Typical items found in a set of working drawings:

Cover Sheet

Includes index, definitions, owner information, front exterior view of home, etc.

Floor Plan

Dimensioned layout 

Exterior Elevatoins

Exterior views of all four sides of the building; includes necessary details.

Electrical Plan

Layout of lighting fixtures, outlets and other electrical details.

Foundation Plan

Dimensioned foundation plan, including footing details.

Roof Plan

Top view of house showing ridges, valleys and other roof features.

Sections

Sections through home highlighting framing and other details; may include wall details of materials and assemblies.

Interior Elevations

Interior kitchen and bathroom views to display necessary cabinet details, etc.

Specifications

Blank specification guide to be completed by purchaser and builder.

Note***

Not all sheets are required for some projects.

CAD Files

Electronic files in .dwg format provided by designer.  Files are used to make changes to design; emailed directly to client and includes a license to modify, reproduce and build unlimited homes.

Printed +PDF

Includes five sets of printed plans, plus digital PDF file. Includes a single-use license (one time build).  Printed plans can be picked up or mailed.

PDF Files

Electronic copy of files; read-only. Client will have the right to make multiple copies. Single use license allow the structure to be built one time and unlimited use license allows for unlimited builds.  Files will be shared via email.  

IMPORTANT:  All sales are final.  Your plans cannot be returned once your order has been placed.

Your plans will be designed based on current building codes; however, we strongly suggest you check with your local building department prior to construction.  They may require your plans be reviewed and/or modified.  You may also need to consult with an architect and/or engineer who is familiar with local requirements such as wind, soil conditions, etc prior to construction.

Our plans are NOT stamped by a licensed architect or structural engineer.
